The Foundation to Combat Antisemitism Announces Tara Levine as President
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The Foundation to Combat Antisemitism (FCAS) announced today that Robert Kraft, Chairman and CEO of the Kraft Group and founder of FCAS, has named Tara Levine as President. Levine brings more than 25 years of experience leading teams and driving growth and impact at a diverse range of companies and organizations. She will report directly to Kraft, effective August 28.
Kraft established FCAS in 2019 to address the rise in antisemitism in the U.S. and hate growing around the world, partnering with nearly 200 organizations. Earlier this year, FCAS launched an omnichannel nationwide campaign, #StandUpToJewishHate, to encourage audiences to recognize all hate in order to stand up to it.
This campaign also introduced the blue square as a universal symbol of unity and solidarity which has been worn by prominent celebrities and featured in key locations across the country. These efforts have reached millions of Americans multiple times, resulting in increased awareness of antisemitism and their role in combating it.
“Over the last year, we have been proud to launch the blue square, Stand Up to Jewish Hate campaign and grow the reach of the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism,” said Robert Kraft, Founder of FCAS. “The ads resonated with audiences nationwide and the response has been overwhelming. We recognize the need to continue to expand the scope of the Foundation and the campaign and to continue recruiting new partners in the fight against antisemitism and all forms of hate. To lead that effort, we are thrilled to welcome Tara Levine as the Foundation’s first President. Tara has a tremendous amount of experience and success building teams and is a proven expert in innovatively managing the growth of for-profit and nonprofit organizations over the past two decades. With her skills, experience and passion for our mission, I am confident in her leadership as we continue to educate and advocate for new ways to combat hate. Her experience will help unlock FCAS’ next phase of growth and impact.”
“We are at an inflection point where the rise in antisemitism and hate must be checked,” said Levine. “Robert Kraft and FCAS have created a rare platform to activate the upstanders and invite those sitting on the sidelines to join the conversation and speak on behalf of our shared humanity and commonalities. I am excited to bring the expertise I have gained over 25 years leading organizations through moments of growth, combined with my personal experience and commitment to equity and activism to FCAS. Together, we can all tackle hatred.”
Tara Levine most recently served as President of Mayfield Advisory, partnering with consumer packaging goods businesses to successfully navigate growth inflection points, and Senior Advisor to Branchfood, a launchpad for global food innovators. She has led global and North American brands and helmed cross-functional teams delivering breakthrough innovation and marketing. She served as GM, North America and Vice President at Converse, a subsidiary of Nike, and as Chief Growth Officer of Inari. Prior to that, she spent 11 years at Ocean Spray in multiple leadership roles, including Vice President of Strategy and M&A. Levine also led Ocean Spray’s Europe/Middle East/Africa business for six years based in London. She joined the company as Director of Brand Marketing for the North American business, driving growth through innovation and base business expansion. Levine oversaw numerous brands at P&G/Gillette.
Levine also possesses strong nonprofit leadership experience, having served as the founding Director of Research and Advisory Services at Catalyst, a think tank advancing women in business, creating their consulting business, and writing the book “Creating Women’s Networks.” She also serves as a board member for the International Women’s Forum of Massachusetts.
Levine earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Brown University. She resides in Dover, with her husband, Jim, and two sons.
